Monocentropus balfouri tarantula

balfouri is also known as blue baboon tarantula.  This tarantula is terrestrial and an opportunistic burrower. females live for 10 to 14 years whike males tend to live a shorter life of 3 to 4 years.

They tend to like the heat as where they are from Socotra part of Yemen, temperature there is rougly 28 and humidity 65.

This tarantula can live communally without attacking each other as long as provided with enough food and care. Old world does not possess urticating hairs.
